Then took 2nd in NH, then SWEPT Super Tuesday.

The point is that IOWA MEANS SHIT and we're going to WIN NH if we do this right!

yeah but Ron Paul didn't skip Iowa.

However, I am very optimistic about Super Tuesday.

We have cash and Nation-Wide support.
And...a Newsweek cover.

And McCain slid over Ron Paul in 2008 and won NH in 2000...

I sincerely hope that we can do it there though. :)

a state filled with religious zealots, choosing between a pastor and a Mormon..
They chose the pastor because they think the Mormon thinks Satan and Jesus are brothers (or something like that)..

Iowans are fucking idiots...

doesn't Iowa get only half its delegates for violating GOP rules? So, historically it's irrelevant (only 2 actual presidents having won it) and practically it's irrelevant. To make matters worse, they always seem to go for the most fear-mongering candidate. I really wouldn't worry about Iowa. Seriously.

No, that only applies to the primary states.

Nice fact to know. I remember reading Clinton coming in 2nd in NH, but didn't know he skipped Iowa. Some encouraging things for our campaign moving into the rest of the nation. I hope we don't lose too much momentum.

I think people are missing the point. A 3rd place showing in iowa would have been a huge momentum builder, would have made it alot more likely to get a huge bump in nationwide polls and in donations, etc. Now people will be very reluctant to donate, especially if paul does worse than 3rd in NH, new potential converts will be even more skeptical of voting for paul.

The worst part, is parts of the media and even paul himself were predicting us to do "better than everyone thought". Well, unfortunately, that doesnt seem like it will end up being the case.

Theres still hope - NH independents. But if we get 4th or worse in NH, then its pretty much over, based on momentum. bill clinton did so well because he had friends, media, and financial backing. If we dont get momentum, we wont get that advantage, at all.
