I know that Ford requires their CEO to travel by private jet for security purposes. The other ones probably do too.

Nevertheless, this certainly doesn't look too good, and I doubt it will help their cause any... Symbolically, it's kinda funny. Flying by private jet to Washington to ask for a handout. This will probably turn into a shit storm.

Ron Paul did fine flying commercial. He's more of a threat to the establishment than a bunch of auto execs.
