The M4 Sherman, built by, among others ALCO, Baldwin and Pullman, is rolling slag iron. It's beauty lies in rugged lines, rough details, over engineered strength, super simplicity and brute force.

The P51 Mustang, made by North American Aviation, on the other hand, is a weapon of war sublime in it's beauty, fast, powerful, sleek, polished, refined, fast and maneuvers like the lady in the red dress gently rubbing your sensitive bits under the table.

Two utterly different machines, designed to do utterly different jobs, and each are gorgeous in my eyes.
