That is a Patterson 300 series rig drilling in what looks like to me Appalachia - eastern mountains in the background, air packs, and the backyard is set on containment, and a nice, flat graveled pad. Not many other plays that I'm aware of that meet that criteria.

Decent chance I've actually been on that rig.

And I can assure you that the sentiment expressed by the sign - even if it is photoshopped - is most certainly the sentiment shared by most of the hands working that rig.

I know as you move further east in the GoM, your chances of hitting H2S increase.

Is that the case on land plays as well?
