Bestest picture thread evaar! (The trilogy)

Reasonable, rational, sensible. So naturally, it WILL be ignored.

Ya, you have it all wrong. There isn't anybody here who disagrees with that.

Politically speaking, it is virtually impossible to accomplish those things. That doesn't mean we should stop trying, it just means that we need a stop-gap measure to ease immigration levels so we don't tip even further towards the left/big government.

What do you recommend?

You might start with stop saying it's impossible.

I didn't say it's impossible, I said it's virtually impossible.

Getting rid of the welfare state in this country is virtually impossible. You have hundreds of millions of people dependent on it. Eventually it will have to end, but good luck getting it done now.. I'm all for it, if Ron Paul -20 years was running for President, I would be full steam behind him. But that isn't the case.

A wall, on the other hand, is much easier to elect someone to build. Better border security is something that is within the realm of possibility.

The good news is by placing the stop-gap measure in place, it helps achieve the goal of getting rid of the welfare state in the future, as compared to if you do nothing.

Please explain the difference to me from virtually impossible and impossible.

Impossible means there is no way it can happen under any circumstances.

Virtually impossible means that the chances of it happening are extremely slim, almost impossible.

Lol, ok. The result remains the same dannno. My statement remains the same. Let's try this, quit referring to it as "virtually impossible". Politics and public opinion are funny things, they can change quicker that we can imagine sometimes.

Virtually impossible: Convincing politicians to cut illegal immigrants off from all benefits.

Actually impossible: Government building a thousand miles of wall in a timely manner, and that wall actually keeping people out who are determined to get in.

Yes, ignored by the same people that tell me any kind of barrier, wall, fence or patrol is out of the question.

Ending subsidies is out, building a wall is out, bringing the troops home (and/or citizen militias) and guarding the border is right out...

So, I guess we just sit around and do nothing as the invasion continues apace.

Disney kicks the people out of the park every night. And out of their hotels every morning. And you have to have paid for a ticket to enter. And you have to go through a gate and security to get in.

And the people that Disney allows to enter are almost exclusively white.

And it's their right to do that as owners of the property.

It's not my right, or the government's right, to decide that for them.

The people in the picture AF posted are also on their ways ultimately to various privately owned properties where they will be there with the owners' permission. And just like with Disney World, it's not my right or the government's right, to interfere with that arrangement either.

At any rate, using a picture of a crowd of people that isn't doing anyone any harm and that's not any bigger than crowds most of us have been in ourselves before to fear monger is just stupid. Oooooo, a crowd, scary.
