I know, right?

The sad, pathetic thing is that he'll probably never even notice the irony in his comment.

The whole idea sounds good in principle, it's just really bad when it comes to logic. I mean, REALLY REALLY bad, horrible logic. The pathetic thing is you will probably never understand.

But if you want help, here it goes..

Once again, taking the MOST LIBERTY ORIENTED PEOPLE in a statist society, and convincing them not to vote, in a statist society, is LITERALLY retarded. You will get less liberty EVERY SINGLE TIME. Period. Because the people who care about liberty will have no say in how the government is run.. and so the government will be less influenced by people who believe in freedom.

Does that make sense?

In fact, if I was a big government statist, I would definitely encourage this type of behavior among people who believe in liberty. Because it would benefit the statists immensely. No pesky liberty people to get in their way.

If voting did anything to advance liberty, you'd have a point.

I'm not saying vote for the sake of voting, because sometimes you are right - who you vote for doesn't make a difference.

But swearing it off completely, and not actively pushing for a limited government that protects your rights and doesn't trample on your freedom - in very few cases is that ever going to lead to more liberty.. certainly not in our case. In our case, the best thing we can do is the most that we can to restrain government.

Voting for Rand did.
Voting for Massie did.
Voting for Amash did.
Voting for Lee did.

I could go on and on.

10 years of hard work voting really paid off!

Maybe in the next 10 years we might even get another senator!

Imagine how much we could do, with two senators on our side!

It's not at all the most we can do. The most we can do is to persuade the masses to overthrow the tyrants completely. Please read de la Boetie's "Discourse On Voluntary Servitude". #revolt
