WTF?

I got a false positive on a pee stick once. It was a few months after number 2 was born and I really felt pregnant so I took a pee stick test. I laid it on the counter to let it work and got distracted with the babies. When I came back and looked at it, it was a positive. I freaked out. I had two little boys under two and I was stretched to my limit. Mr A, the voice of reason, picked me up another pee stick on his way home and that one came back negative. While I was waiting, I read the box and apparently, the tests will turn positive after 5 minutes even if they're negative. A few years ago, I played that trick on Mr A for April Fools Day. Bless his heart, he was trying to sound happy because I was acting happy about it but when I finally told him the truth, he was so relieved, he couldn't even laugh. He scheduled an appointment for a vasectomy that week.
