I don't need to read some mental gymnastics to distort the meaning of what is very clear and to the point. I read the passage and I throw the book in the garbage, it's that simple. There's plenty of other reasons to do so, but for us libertarian minded folk, this one should be one of the most obvious.

For an individual to die for one's enemies -because we all die in the end- isn't mental gymnastics, it's a way for an individual to reciprocate a gift of life and Jesus satisfying the market price for my soul. If I had willed myself into existence I might agree with you... didn't go down like that.

Don't worry, this libertarian minded Christian won't demand you die for your enemies -and I can't really think of any other Christians on this forum who would demand that you die for your enemies.

When an invidual prevails no matter what happens -now that's individual liberty. But whatever.
