the more i rewatch the clip the funnier it is.

at first glance i was like, what is the point of this question, this won't resonate with people. But it was obvious that McCain was talking in circles, and he was unaware of the group because it wasn't in the "old media" syllabus for the debate

McCain's answer was a rehearsed answer to any question that he doesn't understand... He's used it before in his 'Town Meetings' where he's asked difficult questions... When he doesn't understand he just says how he'll rely on the expertise of all the people he's met over the years and throw in the word tax cut for good measure.

The problem is for most, the sheep, this tatic works. He knows that all he has to do is fill 30 seconds or so with talking in circles and people will be fine with the BS answer.

This question and Mc100's answer had little to no effect to the general public. Most will think he answered just fine.
