Amazon Kindle is good if you like to read digital books.
Amazon App Store - Has a free app everyday that is normally a paid app.
weather channel
youtube - if not preinstalled
google translate - useful
flash player - mandatory

TuneIn Radio is pretty decent for finding just about any radio station or stream.

yup, guess i forgot to add that one but i discovered it last night and it is great. Just wish i could download the podcasts so when im out of signal I can still listen

There are apps for that too. I had one but i'm constantly fighting my phone, which results in OS reinstalls quite frequently. Just search the market for podcast and you'll find a good one.
