Bernie Sanders Has A Good Chance of Winning

I always hear the saying "The right has moved so far right that they are unelectable"... but I think the same can be said about the Dems.

Yeah, keep hearing that. But in fact, the Republicans never get elected because they're so far left nobody can tell them from the Democrats. People figure if there's no difference, they might as well vote for the socialists that admit they're socialist.

I've been lurking on the SandersForPresident subreddit and it's way too familiar. After the debate his supporters are all angry at CNN and finding every comment section to spam while annoying everyone else. Some of them are talking about how "the revolution will not be televised". It would be all too deja vu if they started using the word "media blackout".

Bernie ain't gonna do shit.

You're probably right. But that just means that Hillary will most likely be the nominee. Which kinda like really really sucks

I have never seen so many Facebook posts on one person, for so long. Every day, all times of the day, my feed is blowing up with people gushing over Sanders. This is like a thousand times the reaction I saw for Ron Paul. I saw maybe one RP post during the entire 2012 cycle that wasn't posted by a RP page.

I'm scared. Things are going to get really bad for this country, and these people are going to welcome more socialism with open arms and blame freedom for the problems.

I could be wrong but I think it's basically like the Ron Paul campaign. Online support doesn't equate to actual widespread support or votes. Eventually you'll start seeing them desperately talking about how it's "all about the delegates".

Out of all the democrat turd sandwiches, Bernie is probably the tastiest but that surely doesn't really matter because he's still shit in your mouth, and that's no good.

You basically have SJWs falling all over the guy.

The debt has been growing, wages are stagnent, and job growth is dismal. The dollar will lose purchasing power and the fed will print even more money.

It's easy to see the appeal. Take from the rich bastards and give to the poor, Robin Hood style.

It's a short sighted decision as the debt will only get worse and class warfare will become more intense.

Trickle down economics doesn't work, but we need to incentivize manufacturers to open plants and create jobs in America. That does mean offering tax breaks to companies who create jobs and thus inject wealth into the economy.

Automation and cheap labor abroad will continue to make jobs a scarcity. It's a complex and intertwined problem we face, but expanding the forceful reach of government is not the answer, no matter how politely Bernie puts it.

I often wonder whether people believe what they post or they just want to get a reaction or something... Sanders has a chance at winning althougb it isnt that high. I would be glad if he defeated Clinton but I seriously doubt it. And if he does manage to defeat her it is even less likely he will defeat the GOP nominee unless they continue to be idiots and nominate Trump. Now I dont normally think someone is an idiot based on who they support but this is Trump we are talking about here.

Sanders is a self described "socialist" and even if he isnt truly 100% socialist, labeling himself as such will kill his campaign in a general election.

But in his defense it is true that wall street profits off of basically nothing and is no real friend to the common man. Why should we continue to support those who are nothing but puppets to wall street and the mega corps. I respect him for at least not being a corporate whore like Clinton and most of the GOP. It is something I respect of Paul too, refusing to go ass kiss for donations. The corps are every bit as bad as the government, if not worse. Any centralization of power is bad. Acting like it is fine and dandy because it is supposedly free enteprise is nonsense.

And it isnt about "free stuff". Most people still work as hard as anyone else, the economy just happens to be set up in such a way to benefit certain professions more than others. People just want to live a decent life. Disagreeing with them is fine but dont go around saying b.s. as they just want freebies.

My guess is Sanders has less than 10% chance of winning the election.

I agree that saying that people just want free stuff is generalizing, but you generalized in your post as well by saying that people just want to live a "decent life" and that all people "work hard". It's just simply not true. Believe me, I know plenty of people who just want free shit so they can spend all their time on themselves without having to work and I know lazy assholes who do nothing at work yet whine and complain. There's people of both stripes, and they aren't minorities.

Guys like Bernie seem to have a great fondness for 'Scandinavian Socialism'. The strange thing is I'm not even sure the direction he's proposing for this country would even resemble those country's policies.

Also, isn't Norway's socialism powered by Oil? It seems like their in a unique situation and being smarter with their resources.

Norway has very high per capita income and of course never joined the European Union . . .
Sweden and Denmark may be a bit of a socialist mess imo (from what I may know/believe).

So . . .
Get more chit with President Bernie !

Kinda funny how some peeps in here gave me negative feedback for this post but they sure dont mind posting in it.

From my assessment even with a media blackout, Hillary has no chance from what I see from locals in Los Angeles in person, in polls and on facebook. I think the tides have turned.

The best part about this is that the dems have a small field and the media can try to ignore bernie but its going to be too obvious. Its a really good thing that Berine is kinda a "truther" for the dems because he will expose what Ron Paul went through in 2012. I think the media is going to get a wake up call on this one.

Hmm, that's funny... you sound just like the former member RonPaul4Prez2012... he was from Los Angeles too. So I will ask you straight up... are you the same person that got banned from this forum just a few weeks ago?

If Bernie was a serious candidate he would not have given over the top cover to Hillary during the debates for the email scandal.
