Bernanke's essays on the Great Depression

I wonder how long Bernanke stay chairman. Does anybody think he will resign anytime soon?

Isn't it something like 6years as the average tenure for Fed chairmen?

I've heard mention of them and apparently they are dry, boring, and utterly wrong and we are experiencing what he wrote should have been done.

Shouldn't he wait until the Depression he helped cause is over before writing about it?

You are dead on. I read the first essay and was bogged down by statistics that really showed nothing. I am actually dreading reading the other ten essays. Rothbard's AGD book was much better and way more interesting.
