Bentivolio race now rated "Likely Republican"

I'm not surprised. A lot of the Republicans-for-Taj have realized the folly of voting for Taj.
 
A few days ago, I found a Canton area former teacher and dem and convinced him to vote for Kerry. All I had to do was bring up the bankers and it set this guy right off. Tho, I'm surely relieved to see that JA has a decent advantage here. It would break my heart to see him go down. 2 Paul clones for Mich!
 
Some delegates near me were booing Bentivolio when he came on stage at the state convention. :confused:

They're still butt hurt that we smoked em out in this one, they'll get over it. My district was up front and just center-right of the stage and when Kerry got up there, me and my bro were representin with standing O and some cheer.
 
A number of Cassis supporters promised to vote for Taj, and Taj has received outside funding from Republicans who hate Bentivolio.

Is it possible that Roll Call's rating is inaccurate because of this?

It never really made any sense to rate this race as less than Likely Republican. They were just being extra-cautious because it's an open seat in a district that went Obama in '08 and Bentivolio is a some dude. It's in the nature of forecasters to be excessively careful. I've always seen this as a safe seat since the only democrats running were Taj and the LaRouchie.

I don't believe in a second about Cassis supporters funding Taj or voting for him. Typical nonsense.
