Ben Swann Streaming 30 Minute Special Tonight!!!

IIRC when Ron asked @ the debate that we should get a declaration of war per the constitution before committing US troops , the three blind mice on the other side just ignored that little factoid !

I do like Ben Swann, but to be honest, I can't tell if he's a really good reporter, or if he just looks good because all the other ones suck and just parrot what they're told to say. It's been so long since I've seen real news and real journalism that I just can't tell any more.

He makes mistakes and misses important details at times, but I believe his intent is on the right place.....

Completely agreed, I have found that he is good reporter, however there have been a few issues that he could have investigated more to get more accurate information on that topic. So he is behind me by like a day in the news but thats not bad nowadays.

Since I doubt he has a team of people to help him, I think he does pretty damn good. Plus, I'm not going to sit here and negatively critique the only reporter I've seen in the media, besides Napolitano, who gives Ron Paul a fair shake. Because doing that would be extremely stupid.

"I consume an enormous amount of news on a daily basis and began to notice how few of the national media would even mention Congressman Paul’s name. Regardless of how he was doing in the polls, he was largely ignored by commentators. After the CBS debate where Rep. Paul was only given 89 seconds of time to speak despite polling between 12 and 15 percent at the time compared to Rick Santorum who was polling between 1 and 3 percent nationally but given 5:45 seconds of time, I felt it was time to call out the media on their treatment of the candidate."

good intent

Ben Swann is new to me.

His report on the discrepancy in the Maine voting was pretty good I thought. I surprised the investigation hasn't gone further... Like exploded on the air waves. Then again what appears to be party corruption isn't big news.? Or news at all.?

We should be very grateful, if he spews Ron Paul talking points, he'll lose credibility, he shows our side plenty, and when Ohio votes, I'm sure because of him thousands of people have been convinced of Dr. Paul.

A lot of people trust their local news guys.

I did not mean to discredit the only non MSM company/reporter who actually gives us what we want. Fair, balanced, unbiased, undoctored news.

To be fair, I've only seen the reports he's done on Ron Paul, but I haven't heard him report anything that I didn't already know, but that's probably true for most of us here. He's definitely well-intentioned, honest, and thinks for himself rather than just parroting the news feed. In that respect, there isn't really anybody else to compare him to, that's all I'm saying. I wish there were a lot more like him.

Well, we are political junkies. The majority of people watching his reports just got home from a long day at work and probably don't even know who won Nevada, Minnesota or Maine.

Yeah. Ben presents pieces of truth to folks who don't use the internet and/or are completely brainwashed by the MSM.

"Reality Check" is usually only a few minutes long. Don't expect to much of this man guys! =)

Anyone have a tube of it to add to this thread (maybe update the OP?) so we can get Ben some more views?
I'd really love to encourage the return of real reporting to the internal US market. :)

I thought he was going to read the tweets but ran out of time. Maybe they'll give him an hour next time! :D
