Dobbs is completely wrong in his reasoning. The oil market is a world market. If the US-gov forced Oil-companies to sell all their oil in the US supply would go down and the companies would just go to countries without limiting regulations. A trade war is the worst thing possible and would even increase the price of oil.

Bingo. If they imposed export taxes on oil leaving the United States, the oil companies would then just pass the cost along to the consumer in the form of price increases. If you haven't, you should read End the Fed. It's a great book by Ron Paul that ties all this together.

I do like Ben Swann, but to be honest, I can't tell if he's a really good reporter, or if he just looks good because all the other ones suck and just parrot what they're told to say. It's been so long since I've seen real news and real journalism that I just can't tell any more.
