Become a Republican Committeeman!! *Please Sticky*

Landon, we just gotta keep bumping this everyday since they refuse to sticky. I checked out Marshall, Arkansas and noticed a population of 1,313. Is your town really that small?

Yep, it makes it easy to move up politicaly... The Party wasn't doing much untill here recently when I became Chairman. We now have weekly young republican meetings, 17 RP county delegates going to the district convention, a monthly Republican Women's meeting, and more money. My next resolution is a Mccain Vote of no Conf.

And it is pretty nice here... The people are nice... The cops don't care... No traffic... lol
I live on a 470 acre Ranch 10 miles out of town, and drive about 150 miles a day... usally for meetings...

That's awesome to hear. Los Angeles has a big system that pretty established so it'll take some time down here.

On your original post, can you make it with the bold lettering and copy mine. I think it's easier to read. I think people get intimidated by a block a text.

Are you crazy? Each Committeeman in Los Angeles has an area of about 500 houses. There are a ton of opportunities here. Where in Los Angeles are you?

I am a member of the REC in my county. I have been somewhat laying low about Ron PAul, but I did bring some slim jims in to put on a table before the primaries.

I have to hold my tongue when they start their war-talk and it really bothers me. My plan is to keep inviting more and more RP Republicans to the meetings and hopefully we can make a difference by stealth infiltration of the party.

I am a newly converted Democrat so all of this can be hard for me to stomach sometimes, not to mention the demand for blind party loyalty! The Dems are just as bad about blind loyalty to their candidate. So I sit quietly and do not say much, but I think that in the long run I am going to win these guys over! Rome was not built in a day, and the Republican Party was not taken by storm but was overcome gradually by the neocons.

They were all somewhat surprised to see me at this month's meeting! :D

the first step

I went to the Los Angeles County GOP website and found absolutely nothing about meetings or anything along the lines of what you're talking about.

Go to your local Board of Election via the Internet and see if they have any information on qualifying for your precinct committee slot of your local RNC. If they done, call them up and ask them.

If they say something like, they are waiting on their local RNC to give them the information, you will have to call up or actually go over to party HQ and get the information...and here I am referring to the exact number of precincts, if the local party is using Congressional seat, or whatever justification they use. It could be different in every state.

But you will have to go find the information yourself. This is how they stay in power. They depend on most registered party members being unmotivated and unwilling to pursue the matter to the end. If you insist on getting the information, the correct information, they will usually oblige you and provide it at some point.

Ask for a debate night... read up, bring notes, bring friends... Dominate...
