If you are a Democrat or Independent who supports an end to the wars and wants to bring our troops home, you should strongly consider becoming a "Blue Republican" for a day and voting for Ron Paul in your state's upcoming presidential primary. Dr. Ron Paul is the ONLY true anti-war candidate running for President this year, and he needs your vote in your state's Republican Primary to win.

Here are the two Huffington Post articles that originally suggested this strategy:

And the rapidly growing Facebook Group with much more info posted about the need for this strategy:

Please consider joining the Facebook Group and registering Republican for the upcoming presidential primaries. If not, we all risk being stuck with another Pro-War Neocon as the next Commander in Chief:

Loved the video! We need to see more Democrats coming over to support Ron.

I think the best outreach you could do for this would be to have the literature, give the pitch, then hand the person a voter registration card and tell them you will mail it in for them. I was planning on changing my registration for months. I even went to rock the vote and printed out a voter form. Somehow it never made it to the mailbox. But at the DMV it was simple, fill out and in so I did it.

Would it be uncouth to pre-check the republican box on the form?

Not uncouth at all, IMO. We definitely need to be making it as easy for people to register Republican as possible, and having the cards on hand and then mailing them in for them is perfect. The other benefit is that they'll get a reminder of their voter registration change in the mail a few weeks later as well.

Hi all,

Today I received my Ron Paul Swag and as it turned out my sisters and mom where visiting. I re-registered republican and I think I manage to get Ron Paul 3 more votes as all three of them also re registered today :)
