Beck is snickering about Alex Jones: "I dont pay attention to him", yeah right Glenn you're a liar because you monitor him and steal ideas for your show all the time in your efforts to co-opt.
 
Glenn and his friends call Alex Jones: "stupid", "fat", "fascist", "dishonest", "dangerous", "deceitful".
 
I don't like them either but notice how the 9/11 thing is immediately the deal breaker and what they focus on.

Glenn is being pretty rude in this video with his personal attacks, but I understand his point that Alex's rant may have been more harmful than it was helpful to the gun-rights movement. However, it does come off as somewhat hypocritical... if Glenn thinks he can do a better job, why doesn't he try and do it? I barely ever see Glenn speak up for gun rights.

The gun-rights "movement" is in about as bad a place as it can be. I found Jones' performance chafing my sense of good manners, but I immediately realized what he was doing. He had a rare opportunity to be heard in the MSM and was going for the gusto. Given how MSM routinely manages such exposures, what else was he to do if the goal was to get the words out? Morgan and his ilk are masterful at steering and have the power of the editor to cut off any stream of information they deem sufficiently undesirable to warrant the action. Jones appeared a bit boorish, but his only other choice was to be run flat by that pusillanimous limey prick. He refused to be diverted and took the steps necessary and pulled it off. That it made him look rude... well, there is nothing one can do about people unwilling or unable to view a situation strategically or to be educated on the matter. Jones had NOTHING to lose by going for the brass ring and that is apparently what he did. I cannot speak to his true and innermost personal motivations. Controlled opposition? Could well be - nothing like that would surprise me, though I would find it very disappointing.

Beck is nothing if not a hypocrite. How could ANYONE with a shred of intelligence, self-respect, and decency place trust in a man who engaged in a schtick of crocodile tears... boo hooty hoo...? Beck should be relegated to the dustbin of ignominy.
