Beck just spoke about yesterday's interview

"I had her on because I was sick and tired of being hammered by their supporters to have her on. Don't try to bully us to having a candidate on."

I think he showed his anger by his his hit job on her

I'm almost certain the reason he asked her the question wasn't because people in opposition said she was a truther, but rather people in SUPPORT of her said she was.

I bet he got a billion emails asking him to let her on her show that started something like this:

"Debra Medina is a true patriot who will stop the New World Order and stop the US government from creating false flag attacks like 9/11..."

 Yeah right. Drop the "9/11 truther" conspiracy theory. (The unproven assertion that 9/11 truthers actively sabotage campaigns). Seriously, pulling this crap is less legitimate than questioning the government about 9/11.

 Yeah right. I doubt that happened unless the emails came from you.

Are you kidding me? I physically saw letters to the editor in support of Ron Paul from 2008, and several of them were of this same, rambling, JFK-was killed by the CIA type letters. Whether they were deliberately spread by anti-Ron folks I don't know, but they were way out there.

You weren't here during the Ron Paul campaign when this forum had 1000 people online at any given time. Trust me, the AJ truthers don't give a shit about anything else other than 9/11 truth.

Well I was here then. Most of the time anti truthers such as yourself started the fight!

Typical 9/11 truth fight. Someone posts a thread like this:

Some bloggers attacking Ron Paul again about 9/11. I wish all you 9/11 truthers would crawl under a rock and die!

Truther response:
What the hell are you blaming us for? Ron Paul was just on Alex Jones yesterday talking about the Gulf of Tonkin being contrived or staged or whatever. If Ron doesn't want to be questioned about this he should stay off the show.

And the fights went on and on.

He's a bloody liar. And Nayjevin may be right!

Deb's never been asked if she's a truther, and we're supposed to believe he "got a lot of emails" asking about it? Absolute nonsense.

Who is a liar? Debra would have been fine had she answered the question.

 And have you seen any letter to the editor about Debra Medina? Ron Paul muddied the waters when he went on Alex Jones and started talking about the Gulf of Tonkin being "contrived". He cleared up his position later. By contrast Debra Medina has not said or done anything to give anyone the impression that she might be a truther.

Gulf of Tonkin =/= 9-11.

I didn't know Alex Jones listeners were exclusively truthers?

9/11 is an important issue, but NOT for the race for Texas governor. There is no reason to bring up 9/11 in a governor's race anywhere outside of New York or possibly Virginia.

Focus on the issues at hand, namely freedom and property rights.

Well, considering I live in Arizona, it's unlikely that I've seen any physical letters to the editor concerning Debra Medina.

You're right that Debra Medina did not directly suggest she was a 9-11 truther, but the fact is, as your very presence here demonstrates, there are 9-11 truthers among Medina's supporters... and as such, I think it was a fair question, and a fair probing of it afterwards.

Gulf of Tonkin =/= 9-11.

Both are part of the same set of events called "False flag operations". While not everyone who questions the Gulf of Tonkin incident questions 9/11, it's fair to say that everyone who questions 9/11 questions the Gulf of Tonkin. They aren't the same but they are related. More importantly the day after the interview radio host Steve Gill was calling Ron Paul a 9/11 truther based on his Gulf of Tonkin statement! That's the important point that everybody gleefully glosses over. Even if not a single 9/11 truther had made a comment about Ron Paul he still would have been attacked on the issue based on his statements on Alex Jones alone.

I didn't know Alex Jones listeners were exclusively truthers?

I would say the overwhelming majority are. But I'm not sure what your point is on that.

9-11 is not an issue of concern. It happened 9 years ago, the governor of Texas can do absolutely nothing about it in any case, and, there are much, much much bigger fish to fry.

Not answering decisively about something so trivial, so unverifiable, and so fatal to any campaign was tragic. I literally almost ripped my hair out when I listened to her answers.

HE HUNG UP ON HER, not the other way around. Remember that. All he wanted to do from the start was discredit her.

Wouldn't that have been great if she would have hung up on him right after the 911 truther question?

Glenn Beck: Debra, are you a 911 truther?
Debra Medina: HAHAHA! are you serious?
Glenn Beck: Yes
Debra Medina: Are you serious? Really?
Glenn Beck: Yes, I am.
Debra Medina: Click....
Glenn Beck: Hello? Debra, are you there?

That would have vaulted her into the stratosphere. :D

Is he going to ask the question of Sarah Palin? After all, she's the one who agreed that there should be a new investigation. If there aren't any legitimate questions there's no need for an investigation.

Doubtful...
Funny.

But doubtful. =)

Wasn't there a recent poll that showed 70% of Americans wanted 911 reinvestigated?

I'd bet Perry and KBH have 911 truther supporters and probably on their staff as well.

What I fear is Perry and KBH are going to try and hit her on foreign policy now. The Texas republican electorate is still in the majority prowar and if they start hammering her on that it will hurt.

As a gubernatorial candidate, my response to that would be "If we want to talk about foreign policy, let's talk about Mexico and the border..."
