Hyper-inflation will exacerbate food shortages
When the dollar loses significant value, to the tune of 100% and higher inflation, .gov, as historically proven, will set prices, and the merchants will either refuse to take the debased coin of the realm, or simply close up shop.
This is a dryly written piece, but it demonstrates the amazing fiat money parallels between pre-Revolutionary France and the FRN inundated U.S. today.

Also consider the dollar is 85% of the worlds reserve currencies....
The rumors are flying that gulf states are about to start depegging their currencies from the dollar.......if the US continues to print dollars eventually the inflation will drive other countries to drop their dollar reserves making inflation unbearable.....if that happens....imports will cease to the US.....the imports will go instead to countries with strong currencies.....
The people who produce food here will be inclined to sell there food abroad for other currencies stronger than the dollar.......And what food is sold here will cost a ton to ship cross country as oil producers demand payment other than dollars......
The fed can only print so many dollar before there are no takers.....foreign investment in this country is tanking........the more dollars printed for bailouts the worst it gets......how long before a $5 average loaf of bread? how about a $10 loaf of bread or $20 loaf of bread? Much sooner than I used to think.....
We are in troubled times.......

If I'm a sheep, then I'm a very full one. I ate five .99 grease ball burgers, a jumbo order of fries, and a huge cup of soda today. I think our burgers are safe.

You know, that this was just another stupid european joke, but if you look for the answar, I have one too..
..I would rather have that you got them to .09, as long as they stay where they are and not be a part of another genius master-mind plan in spreading democracy around the globe as part of science fiction trilogi named "mission accomplished" 2,3...
