In theory this sounds good, but it wouldn't work. How do we know when someone is planning violence against us? What if we are wrong? What if the government lies to us and claims so and so is planning to killsus(as they did with Iraq)?

We need a STRICT policy of non-interventionism. We also need to be prepared to completely and instantly annihilate any country in the world, without regard for civilian casualties, if they should attack us.

You just dont get it. We avoided open warfare with the soviets for 40 years by killing their agents in other countries. They also kiled ours.

You cant just wait for them to show up out in the atlantic with a fleet, or wait for them to detonate a nuke in Chicago. you have to keep gathering intelligence, and yes, you have to act to protect your interests when they are threatened. This is NOT the same thing as being interventionist. You kill people that are KNOWN to be a direct threat to the U.S.. You dont invade other countries, you dont interfere with their politics, you dont attempt to influence their elections, but you DO take care of US security. Sometimes that requires killing people on a small scale to avoid killing on a large scale.
