Bannon Slowly Being Phased Out

Meanwhile, back in Washington, Trump was fuming. According to a source close to the president, "[Trump] is upset that his son-in-law and senior adviser was not around during this crucial week." Kushner did appear at the White House on Friday during the last gasps of the Obamacare repeal effort.

Not bloody likely. Trump probably suggested the trip to his son-in-law, acted outraged to the media but was actually glad he was gone so he wouldn't screw up his plan to oust Paul Ryan.

Trump wants government to be more efficient.

So he's for change we can believe in.

But isn't he anti-globalist? The lesser of many evils?

The lesser of two evils is still what? And at this point seeing all of the damage Trump has done to the liberty movement itself, I'm waiting for the upside.

For starters, illegal border crossings have dropped by 40%.
That's not a good thing.

And ICE agents now actually getting to deport illegal immigrant drug dealers, child rapists, and murderers at a much faster rate.

Perhaps. But they've already begun deporting good decent immigrants without criminal records at a much faster rate. If that's the price we have to pay for them to deport an occasional bad hombre, it's not worth it.

lol....we're making money hand over fist daily! I think we ought to start a rumor that were going to start carpet bombing sanctuary cities.

Wait, wait, wait. All these years, erowe, you have kept carefully saying you're just for the freedom to immigrate. Not that you want to see the country turned Third World necessarily. Just that we keep that option open. All about freedom.

Now you are saying that decreased border crossings are a bad thing in and of themselves? These people are choosing to not cross the border. Isn't that their right? Isn't that OK, too?

I think maybe some True Colors are accidentally coming out.

Is it not so much about freedom for you, but instead about advocating ThirdWorldism? Anything that reduces or slows our Third World transformation -- even slightly! -- is in itself a bad to you. Did I get that about right? Nail on the head?

Interesting...

Is "Sloppy Steve" Bannon Now Trump's Biggest Problem?

Sunday, January 21, 2018

Former White House strategist Steve Bannon speaks before Senate candidate Roy Moore at a "Drain the Swamp" campaign rally at Jordan's Activity Barn in Midland City, Alabama, on Monday, December 11, 2017. Around the first of the year, the New York Post's Page Six published a blind item about the Russia investigation grand jury in Washington in which an alleged witness told the paper:
The grand jury room looks like a Bernie Sanders rally. Maybe they found these jurors in central casting, or at a Black Lives Matter rally in Berkeley.
The source went on to note that 11 of the 20 jurors are African-American and that "there was only one white male in the room, and he was a prosecutor."
This was briefly taken up by the right-wing media, which charged that this proved the whole process was rigged against Donald Trump, apparently on the assumption that black people could not possibly judge him fairly. That was strangely reminiscent of candidate Trump's insistence during the campaign that the judge in the Trump University case could not be fair because of his Mexican heritage. Indeed, that wasn't the only echo of Trump's own words. As Think Progress pointed out at the time: "whoever leaked this tidbit to the New York Post sounds an awful lot like Donald Trump."

Report: Deutsche Bank Flags ‘Suspicious’ Kushner Company Transactions

The bank is prepared to turn over documents to special counsel Robert Mueller, says a German business magazine.

By Mary Papenfuss
A German magazine is reporting that officials of Deutsche Bank have informed Germany’s banking regulator about “suspicious” transactions by the real estate company owned by Jared Kushner and his family.

No details were provided about the nature of the transactions, but Deutsche Bank officials are prepared to turn over documents related to them to special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election, the business magazine reported Friday.

Deutsche Bank is a key banker for both senior White House adviser Kushner and his father-in-law, President Donald Trump. Reuters reported last month that Mueller had issued subpoenas to the bank for information on certain money and credit transactions by Trump and members of his family, according to a source described as being close to the matter. The New York Times reported last month that the U.S. attorney based in Brooklyn, New York, had also issued a subpoena to the bank for information related to Kushner.
