It surprised some that I was so contemptuous of Bachmann. But you see, she's from Minnesota and I am very well acquainted with a few people who know her. And it doesn't surprise me at all that she has shown herself to be untrustworthy, because I had already heard that about her.

Wow lol, just... wow. I enjoyed Cain's implosion, but I'm going to enjoy Bachmann's much more. What a disgusting human being to lie that much in such a short span. A politician to the core, in the worst of ways. The facade is over, never to be rebuilt again.

I doubt she will be able to mentally handle the onslaught of ridicule/scorn/jokes that is coming her away. I kind of feel bad for as I don't think she has a handle on the reality of the situation but at the same time she has really treated Paul with such disrespect after he helped her in the past so it appears karmic. Her total mental breakdown might be news next, though. I think she needs to just stop, go home and find something worthwhile to do w/her time that fills that void in her soul.

That said, can't wait to see how The Daily Show plays this.

I dunno, but I would assume so. The allegations are that Ron Paul bribed Sorenson to join his campaign. And I'm pretty sure those allegations are false.

Wow..I just watched the CNN Bachmann interview. She reminds me of one of those people, like Scientologists? where it's like they've had training to lie through their teeth with a straight face and think if they just keep repeating something confidently enough it would all the sudden become true.

People are leaving your campaign...and they're leaving because you're starting to do well in Iowa? How does that even make any sense? How can anyone say that with a straight face?

I totally agree with you. After Tuesday's election when she gets like 4% of the vote, she will look incredibly stupid for saying all this stuff about how great her campaign is doing and how everyone is turning away from RP. No idea why she would do this, unless..maybe SHE is the one getting paid?

The part of the interview that irked me the most was when Wolf asked if she would support Ron Paul if he was the nominee and she kept repeating, "Never gonna happen!!!" That is incredibly condescending especially from someone in her position who is polling in low single digits and who REALISTICALLY will not win the GOP nom or even a single caucus/primary.

She is so delusional she even thinks that were she the nominee she would beat Obama. In REALITY it would be a 50 state landslide that would make Walter Mondale blush.

Kent Sorenson is KNOWN in Iowa. He had a hand in quelling a Vander Platts move at the state Republican Convention in June of 2010 to get on the ballot as Bradstad's Lt. Governor running mate. Sorenson put out a letter to the delegates to vote for Bradstad's pick Kim Reynolds. Hit Vander Platt's upside the head pretty good.
