There's some video of the arrest. They claim he was interfering and spitting in their face, which is obvious BS after watching the video.

This Captain sure was lucky someone was filming. He also handled himself extremely well (standing back, holding his hands way out so it was obvious he wasn't the aggressor, yelling "What are you doing?!" to draw the attention of others, never taking a swing at this jackass).

Well, if they admit the video which does not show him to be the aggressor, he will easily beat the charge.

He has been charged with a third degree felony, not sure how we can help, but if someone thinks of anything please post it. This guy deserves our support. Maybe file a complaint with the the office of the police monitor here in Austin?

For those that are not from Austin, there are certainly some bad apples in APD. Unarmed minority shootings by police Officers has been almost a bi-yearly occurrence. Also, APD has been enforcing "non-refusal" weekends, where if you refuse to submit to a sobriety test, they parade you in front of a Judge who works throughout the night rubber stamping warrants to forcefully take your blood for BAC testing.
