August 23 - MSNBC: Ron Paul Slams WTC Mosque Protesters [14 mins] WOW

this is what i was talking about on an earlier thread. (before moved to hottopics)

but yeah. this was gangster shit!!!

Wow! That is the longest coverage I have seen on RP in a while without him being involved in an interview. But there are no automated captions up. What was the gist of what the woman and Bobby Golosh were saying?

Wow, that was amazing. There was more intelligent conversation in that one clip than you could find in an entire week of Fox News.

I'd like to use this as an opportunity to remind our right-wing, anti-marxist paranoids that clearly some of these crazy "liberal professors" are perfectly willing to honestly agree with and respect Ron Paul.

That was awesome, they all loved Ron Paul. Ron really brings America together, he should run as an independent in 2012.

If Ron Paul ran as an independent, it would be amazing. It would totally throw the two party system out of whack, and he could probably still get a lot of media coverage by virtue of his wide-spread name recognition and respect.

I'll take this opportunity to say that I believe it would be wise to maintain a neutral, apathetic stance toward these media personalities. Don't hate them; don't love them. Break all emotional attachments to these individuals.

In other words...

Well, I leaving this Ron Paul Board!!!! he supports the Mosque. Good bye!!!!!!

Well you clearly didn't listen to what he said. He said he doesn't care about the darn place, he cares about foreign policy. Stop buying into this false 2-team paradigm.

Oh, and "gadfly" at about 7minutes in.

Thanks for reposting, I missed the first couple of minutes while channel surfing this evening.

RP is 100% right. This "controversy" was ginned up by the neocon leaders to get the mouth breathers in the Republican Party fired up against Islam.

I knew the second they played the Glenn Beck clip that they would play the race card on him for saying the phrase "Good Muslim." You could just see that lady ready to pounce. There's a couple things wrong with this...

1. I'm no fan of Glen Beck, but from that clip it was obvious that when he used the term "Good Muslim" he simply meant Muslims that aren't radical or trying to engage in Jihad.

2. MSNBC was way too quick to play the race card (AGAIN!!!) and you could see that lady practically drooling over the opportunity. And this time they just twisted words to take advantage of a cheap opportunity.

3. They droned on about it for 5 minutes.

Thank goodness the host was kind enough to quote Paul so thoroughly. I still haven't finished watching the clip yet so hopefully the cheap racial talk subsides into something actually constructive.

EDIT: Finished the clip and the rest of the discussion was pretty good. Glad to see Paul getting some positive coverage on MSNBC

Why isn't anyone pointing out the obvious hypocrisy?
Christian neocons are going crazy about the mosque in NY (which BTW is going to be the 2nd closest mosque to ground zero!)

But do these neocons have any problems with Christian churches being built in Iraq, where FAR more than 3000 people have been murdered?

All this Mosque/WTC bull is just to mask the deeper issue beneath the surface, that over 1/3 of the American population doesn't take for granted the fact that al Qaeda was responsible for the attacks in the first place.

It's sickening to see them distort and manipulate masses of people with this tool of mass media.

It's obvious we have learned a lot since the Nazis. Well, the propagandists at least. The common man -- is still painfully ignorant.
