Democrats successfully defended the Federal Reserve Tuesday, voting to filibuster Sen. Rand Paul’s bill to impose an audit on the secretive central bank and dealing a blow to a yearslong effort.

It only takes a few to flip (or to get unelected) in order for this to pass next time around. Probably because Democrats need all that fiat money the Fed creates in order to pay for the promises of free stuff they buy votes with (not that there aren't Republicans doing the same thing.)
