Beyond that,
I have weighed both sides of the issue and still like the idea of the page presenting itself as a "timeline" to the new visitors.

It presents itself in it's primary function.
An Educational Archive and prompts the unfamiliar to sample Ron by walking down the "aisle" and looking at the bookshelves.

I didn't design it for a "breaking news" type format, however

I thought Ron Paul did good on the interview. Mancow has a lot of energy, and must have given Ron some of that during the interview.
