Now that is an outmazing idea! :)

I will be purchasing my first bit of silver bullion soon...

Everyone else can afford to spend 20 bucks, right? Let's do it!

It would be great if more people bought even one ounce of silver.

I really like this Silver Money Bomb idea... I'm surprised nobody came up with the concept sooner... but I guess it took the success of the Ron Paul Money Bomb to prove the concept first.

With the connectivity of the internet, IMO, this could grow to thousands of investors very quickly, essentially, what this would be is a defacto "investment club", just like the numerous "stock investment clubs" out there, except we'd focus exclusively on Silver, wow, what a powerful concept... we could clean out the Silver bullion dealer inventory very quickly (within months) IMO.

I can hardly wait for the first Silver Bomb day.

Is it a good idea to tell the world what day every month everyone will be buying silver en masse? Sounds like it would benefit sellers and hurt buyers. Say silver is at $17 now but dealers know that on the 1st there will be tremendous demand and a likely price spike they could hold off selling any silver they have until then to get maximum profit.

If you really want it big.....put your $600 of Economic Stimulation Payout on Silver........ Instead of a silver money bomb the Stimulus payouts will be coming in at different times....so over the course of the payouts...it would be more of a silver money mortar attack :)

Forgive me for not having read the zillion-page thread on Kitco.com, but what is the point of the moneybomb?

Then we would be able to buy it at an even cheaper price. :D

You didn't read what I said. If you take the guesswork out of it for dealers and word gets around that large purchases will happen on certain days it will inevitably cause a spike in the price leading up to and on those days. Dealers will wait to sell on those days to make the most they can. That's perfectly good if you're a seller but not so much for buyers. What makes the market work is uncertainty. A dealer will sell at spot today because they're not sure what spot and demand will be next week. By having bullion buying bombs you take the uncertainty out of the market for the dealers.

What about a Silver Bullion Ron Paul Money Bomb? Everyone send the RP campaign 1 or more oz of silver on a single day. Each coin he receives is about $18 or so...

Ron Paul got most of us into silver... and that's one of the reasons there are shortages now. Lets show HIM our appreciation and send him a few rounds.

I like that idea....

Well, the price of the silver wouldn't change much on the day of the bomb... it would change slowly as the dealers buy more silver to make up for what they sold.

I'm sure those involved in a silver bomb would not be buying paper silver.

Right, but if you're advertising to the world there will be a surge in sales on a particular day then they can see it the same as you or I an anticipate in advance higher sales on that day and the price should reflect it going into the day the same way an anticipated economic report would.

I think I see what you are pointing at.
The dealers, not the speculators on the open market.

I'm a bit slow at times....:o

Why wait? Buy silver today!

I exchange rapidly devaluing FRNs for silver at every opportunity. Today for instance...
