Ed tells me that he (and his sock puppets) are perma-banned. He may find a way to sneak back on someday, though. If you want to get in touch with him, I can pass a message along or give you his FB info.

Forum bans suck. People should just make judicious uses of ignore lists and be done with it. And ignore lists should be more flexible. I should be able to put someone on ignore on a thread/forum basis. For example person X might rock when it comes to 2nd amendment issues but be a total douche when it comes to foreign policy. to me a perma-ban doesnt really make sense. It just gives incentive to come back as a suck puppet. I mean if your primary is banned forever there is no reason to not re-spawn.

i'm not advocating this should be done BTW.
