Attention: We should have a campaign Mascot

I like the owl or the eagle, nothing silly or frivolous please. This is serious business. Goofy or cartoonish stuff might not really reflect well on our guy.

Dont worry we dont want any goofy character but a character that carries a serious message at the same time showing a good spirit :)

Anybody see the "Ron Paul Patriot" protesting the Faux forum? He was right next to Mitt Romney's mascot, "Flipper the Dolphin"

Remember Silence of the lambs? That muzzle they put on that psychopath? Like you put on a Doberman. And then they strapped him to a two-wheeled dolly and rolled him around.. Now if we captured Rudy once he bails.. It just might work !

Black swan theory

For Taleb's book on the subject, see The Black Swan.

The Black Swan (Cygnus atratus)In Nassim Nicholas Taleb's definition, a black swan is a large-impact, hard-to-predict, and rare event beyond the realm of normal expectations. Taleb regards many scientific discoveries as black swans—"undirected" and unpredicted. He gives the September 11, 2001 attacks as an example of a Black Swan event. [1]

The term black swan comes from the ancient Western conception that all swans were white. In that context, a black swan was a metaphor for something that could not exist. The 17th Century discovery of black swans in Australia metamorphosed the term to connote that the perceived impossibility actually came to pass...

I'd don't like the idea of a porkeepine, down here in Bama we call those varmits hedgehogs, I think they are to prickley

I'd like maybe a beaver, thay can build dams

The donkey for the democratic party was originally meant to mock Andrew Jackson. The donkey was seen as a reliable animal in rural areas so they adopted it as their mascot.

Make you weakness your strength but don't allow your strengths to become your weakness.

I say use something they use to mock us...like Spam

I am not to good at playing with artwork, could someone make the face a little more like Dr. Paul's.

Surprised nobody has suggested..."LP" The Liberty Penguin

Penguins are friendly. They're natural icebreakers. They're also used to cold receptions.

Can't argue there :rolleyes::p

Here is a copy of the email I just sent to the artist:

Hello Ms. Morley, I first want to say that I think your artwork is amazing. I Am a supporter for residential Candidate Dr. Ron Paul and I was just browsing around for some Lady Liberty artwork when I came across your piece. I think this piece is awesome and really resonates of what Dr. Paul is all about. I don't know if you follow any politics or are leaning towards any candidates, but this particular piece of artwork would infer to me that you would absolutely love Dr. Paul. Here is a good place to learn a little about him if you do not already know. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/articles/ What I am really writing to you for is permission to use this artwork in promotion of Dr. Paul. If I may even be a little more bold I would ask if you would consider a new piece exactly the same with just a minor adjustment to the face to resemble Dr. Paul a little more closely. It already looks similar only Dr. Paul does not sport any facial hair, he is also not as athletic or muscular (he is 72) but that is ok. I sincerely thank you in advance.
