My experience after 10 years in is that those who make it to E-8 or E-9 are thoroughly brainwashed. Critical thinking is not on their MTOE. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I don't hold much hope.

Only made it to E4. I think it would be awesome to get Emery himself to do it. Anyone else would just be an imitation of him anyway. Most combat vets are not pro-war, especially when the wars are pointless unending and undeclared.

Who out there is an E-9 decorated combat vet w/ balls of brass? Someone that is (relatively, I'm a vet myself ) spotless. Step up. The 'jack-wagon' commercials you could make for Paul would be priceless. People have grown up on the principle that it is the non-coms that run the military. You could be a much sought after speaker. If this seems like your thing then just do it. Please. Citizens take combat decorated non-com individuals in higher esteem as generals. Volunteer yourself to the campaign.

My dad retired after 20 as an E-8, and he was very much against our current military entanglements. Unfortuantely, he died in Jan 2010. (Sorry typo. He was E-8).

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My dad was a 20 year E-8 in the Air Force. He supports RP but at 84 he wouldn't be willing to do it.
