I'm American alright but I also realize how effective these facebook ads can be. Don't worry, I'll be making a nice sized contribution on the 19th.

That's great! I've been working on the ads everyday to get the targeting and cost just right. I've managed to get clicks down to about $0.30 on average, better than $1 or $0.50 when I started! I'm trying to squeeze more out of each one by playing around So they're becoming more effective by the day. If you're interested in stats, here is what I'm up to:

Date - Clicks - Ad Views
Sep 19 - 3 - 17,229 (first ad)
Sep 20 - 7 - 6,606 (second ad launched)
Sep 21 - 39 - 29,273 (third ad launched, most effective so far)
Sep 22 - 139 - 53,566 (budget temporarily increased for debate night)
Sep 23 - 77 - 14,645 (third ad launched, using graphics from first page of this thread)
Sep 24 - 76 - 20,068
Sep 25 - 160 - 51,379 (Budget was upped too much accidentally)

I sure can, got suggestions? I thought the whole 'blackout/censorship' would be enough because that's what Jon Stewart goes on about.

I'm trying to think of a way we could mention the Daily Show in the ad itself.
I can't think of anything short enough to fit in a Facebook ad, so you're probably right.

Depends if Daily Show is trademarked, they won't let you use trademarks in the ads. I can only try though.

Can only use 135 characters in the ad, so this is great but might have to make it shorter.
