CPAC attendance is down this yr. They raised prices, rumor is to keep the Paulite college kids from flooding the straw poll.

I love how the major corporate news media never addresses exactly what is isolationist about either of the Paul's positions.

I would agree with this assessment in general not just at CPAC.

We need to get the word out about neocon Ted Cruz.

I think the releasing of the straw poll results after the first day might also be an attempt to thwart Rand... people are going to vote for the 2nd place candidate just because they want to prevent another Paul victory. It also kind of takes the suspense/excitement out of the final poll results when you know Rand is already leading by double digits after the first day. I really cannot think of any other good reason to release results after the first day. Also, remember when Ron won they always leaked the results to the media ahead of time so as to lighten the impact when the final results were announced, since they were so 'embarrassed' by a Paul victory.
