Brian Terry, Murdered Border Patrol Agent

This should hit like a bombshell, but probably won't. I'm happy/surprised that CBS covered it though.

good idea! just so it as a story is not buried inside
the recent news developments from the mid-east...

"...Spending millions and millions more, that the agency (ATF) is only making the situation more violent."

This is the whole idea of it... maintaining or increasing funding to your agency because of the growing threat. I know some high level government lawyers and this is basically how the system works with all these departments. The ATF to come down hard on one of it's own for being a whistler-blower to Senator Chuck Grassley reconfirms what this ATF agency is about. Creating a bigger enemy and more violence to grow it's own authority, which reciprocates more federal funding.

Within 2 weeks after California decriminalizing (misdemeanor) POT laws took effect... the ATF struck across the state in raids and drug busts of dispensaries, etc. A high official to the "Governator" stated this is how federal agencies justify their existence and more funding. It's done repeatedly.
