At least one dead after train carrying GOP lawmakers slams into garbage truck

So in the interest of getting to the bottom of it, I pulled up the location on Google Maps. Yes, I believe Angelatc is correct that it is the end of the train displayed in the pics and vids. I stand corrected. However, this does not exclude staging of the damage nor a DELIBERATE act to place that truck in front of the train. The timing of such an incident is WAY too timely and the minor damage to the train, compared to the destruction of the truck stinks of staging.

Don't feed the trolls. Debris flies everywhere when there's a wreck, and it's unlikely the train stopped immediately upon impact.

Laws of Motion apply..
Objects in motion.

The train was on the brakes long before impact... or it would not be (1) on the tracks still (2) STOPPED AT THE INTERSECTION.
There is damage consistent with impact to the front of the train.

The truck had to be in motion and in the direction of the train for debris to be spread in the direction it is.. (see Newtons Law).

The truck hit the train..

Also- it usually takes at least 1 mile for a train, at moderate speed, to stop. And the train will usually drag the vehicle with it after the hit.

Saw a car hit that had stalled on the tracks- people moved the family in the car out & the train engineer was warned but could not stop on such short notice. Hit the car & took it down the tracks.

Go look at the Google Maps for the location (search Lanetown Rd Crozet VA and go a bit northeast). That part of the track is curved so the engineer wouldn't have seen the truck until literally right before hitting it coming around the curve. My bet is that the truck was staged there with full knowledge that the train full of Congress was coming. No one will EVER convince me that this was just a random occurrence that just happened the day after the SOTU, pushing $1.5T infrastructure spending that the GOP would usually be forced to oppose.

eta: the freeze frame of the school bus from dannnno's vid looks like the orientation the truck would have been in to cause the damage shown to the train. I'm calling the truck staged to be hit.

Objects in motion become airborne when they get hit by a train

MK-ULTRA is trauma-based programming, after all. Sounds like a traumatic experience was had by the Freedom Caucus today.

I was being sarcastic. Thomas is sane. Thomas was in the train wreck. The incident wasn't staged - that theory is being generated by the batshit crazy posters.

Your's was the first post in this topic to even suggest he was targeted or body-snatched.

Parked or moving?
I would like to see an overhead view..but debris is in the wrong direction,, opposite the trains direction of motion.

That's the rear engine there by the truck cab apparently.

Notice the line of trees behind the train and the clear grade in the fore.
It looks like it hit the truck in the bed and spun it around.

Also, quick question. If your company vehicle stalls on the tracks, how long should (would) the passengers stay in the truck? It had to have been moving, trying to beat the train.
