At a Republican congresswoman fundraiser: You will not believe what happened.

I just came here to post this :p Awesome story. LE is right, represent RON'S positions. Honestly, when I see our people debating regular Republicans on my videos on youtube, most of our people end up trying to convince them that anarcho-capitalism is the way to go, and if they disagree? "NEOCON!". I have to delete so many comments . Everyone can learn something from this.

Great post with a lot of wisdom for those of us trying to win votes for Dr. Paul.

The message is rock solid. It is just hard to get people to really *listen*... He caught them off-guard.

No. Our goal is not to get them to "really listen". It is for US TO LISTEN to them. Then, clearly and succinctly show them how Ron is the man to address THEIR issues.

Ron Paul: ... in an ideal society - and there are many libertarians who would argue that case - I don't think we're in the condition where that would work very well right now, even though I recognize that as something we might well strive for.

In reference to the open travel of immigration, labor, and goods across American borders. About twenty seconds later, he says, verbatim, "that is something we should strive for," and "I don't see any reason to not work in that direction".

Ron's intent isn't to have immigrant workers leave. It's to dismantle the welfare state. Be cautious when presenting your argument, as you may be misrepresenting his views.

This. I'd always suspected well-to-do types (outside of the Beltway metro area) were more receptive to libertarian leaning Republicanism.
