This is beautiful work man. At some point once you have completed the early states, I'd love to see if we can get together on a North Carolina seal. NC is "First In Freedom" and we already have a pretty excellent state seal to begin with. The State has largely lost her way, but we are fighting our way back. It was right here in NC that the first declaration of sovereignty on the continent from Britain took place.

And, when you do get past the early states and get around to NC, maybe one version with Ron Paul and another version with Glen Bradley.

Without minscing words we need money. It's like medicare, everybody likes it but its broke.

I'm not against officially obtaining artwork through my campaign, and in doing so you will have made the RP NC seal as well. Mind you, NC is awful late in the primary process so it's low on the priority scale for Ron Paul. But it's not low on the priority scale for me, and I can guarantee that I will be in one helluva primary fight.

The resemblance to the official seals were the first thing I noticed -- it's gorgeous! And it touches a deep psychological, maybe even subliminal button that really connects with "loyalty to our state" that will help Ron Paul, but will REALLY help state races like mine.

If my 17 Sept fundraiser goes well, I'm in for at least $250 ($500 if it goes REALLY well) for custom art tweaked to really call out to NC citizens, with the understanding that the work will be duplicated for the Ron Paul version. Each seal is really $500 or more worth of work in the free market (value closer to $1000 if you include merchandsing rights), figuring $50/hr at about 10hr, but I have to rely on grassroots individuals, so who knows what Sept 17th brings. I'll bring $250 out of my own pocket if the MB duds, which is why I can guarantee at least that much. You guys need to eat too, and you do great work! You rate more than what I can pay, of course.

And the psychological/subliminal impact of drawing on the State Seal should not be discounted. People really IDENTIFY with that, even if they don't know it. People see the seal and instant connect you with 'government.' It says you belong there. That's dam powerful. I'm willing to put campaign money because it helps both me and RP, 2 birds with one stone.

That is essentially what we're attempting to do. We wan't to put a modern twist on old ideas, much like Ron Paul is a modern twist on old ideas. We are putting the 10th amendment on canvas, or atleast trying to. This is a long process that begins with painting on canvas, then digital detailing on the computer. Not sure we will have NC done by the end of September, but it will be done well before the primary. Pleae send me an email so we can further discuss the project, I would really like your feedback.
