Article: Will Ron Paul authorize an audit of the New Hampshire primary?

I think we should move on from this focus on the next states - MI, NV, and SC

Why? It's a sincere question, friend, 'cause I haven't made up my mind. Do you say this because you believe there was no fraud, or because you think we can't fix it, or...?

Genuinely interested.

I know it's interesting, and I Know it's a sincere question, but I think we should focus our time and energy on the other states....we can still win the votes Huckabee, McCain, and Romney each have one state, there's no clear winner yet

Good idea, so we can get 30% in those states and have it reported at 15% because nothing is done. Move on move on .. move on over the cliff like lemmings.

Getting a recount is firing a shot across the bow of poll workers and vote defrauders in the other states. It's the responsibility of all of us to take whatever measures are available to spotlight these things. Otherwise, it will never change.

It looks like there are some good people trying to fight this battle and they could use reinforcements.

PLEASE PLEASE spend equal time on both talking to voters and investigating the vote count.
We cannot afford the loss of boots on the ground just yet.
We need to focus on a decisive win in one of these upcoming states to assist in recruitment of NEW voters.
Yes the vote count is a hot issue, and must be dealt with, but the priority is lower than that of the message.

We need to talk to people, lots of people, tell them what RP stands for and get them out to vote.
We can attack the vote fraud AFTER super Tuesday with force.

FOCUS...what are we trying to do?
This deliberate distraction is a tactic of the opposition to block our momentum.
They get us distracted, we're not talking to people, they win.
WE CANNOT LET THAT HAPPEN. We need to be smarter than they are to win this.

Seriously, how many hundreds of people are stressing over this right now?
We can leave this to a dozen or so key players, professionals, and focus on getting our message out while they work their magic.

I agree with the woman who wrote the article. Ron Paul MUST put this to rest by paying for a hand vote count! He MUST!!
I've spoken to people who worked their ASSES OFF in NH and they are PISSED!!
They KNOW - absolutely 100% positive, that the count is wrong and they will not support the campaign any longer with their hard work and money if the campaign doesn't do this.

Accusations of voter fraud are a "third rail" in American politics.

Unless and until there is a valid, legal reason to do so, like legally sworn affidavits from citizens or election officials of Iowa and New Hampshire that actually claim some sort of vote fraud (for or against any candidate) then this should not be done. Otherwise the people doing it will be subjected to non-stop attack and smearing in the MSM.

Unless there are numerous legal affidavits (I don't have a number but more than one precinct) stating that people who voted for Ron Paul were disenfrachised by fraud I don't think the official campaign should have anything to do with this.

If people in the grassroots want to do this on their own, that's ok, but please do it from a position of protecting the process rather than promoting Ron Paul.

Just my opinion.

I am not sold on vote fraud yet, but the question you should ask yourself is what is the point of moving on to the next states if the vote count is being manipulated? Certainly you don't think this is a localized problem in just New Hampshire?

I don't want Ron Paul to come off looking like a kook, but if fraud actually took place he will be vindicated in going after the recount. The question becomes - is there reasonable cause to doubt the current numbers? I have heard from on the ground supporters in the state saying we should believe the numbers, they match what they have been seeing while talking to people. Personally, I find it hard to believe we did worse in New hampshire than Iowa.

You guys have already given up, before the next state primary, you all have already said it's a voter fraud, election fraud, so what's the point of doing anything then according to you all?

You can't win an election without any votes either, even if there is no voter or election fraud...that's my point, and I think even if there was fraud, we wouldn't have gotten 3rd place...

Sure I agree, but we shouldn't waste so much time on it, you can't win a primary without any votes

I don't find it hard to believe at all from what I've heard from people who were there in NH

+100

I would only add here that the fraud appears to have happened at the points where there is no oversite and where machines are concerned both..

I totally agree with Devy Kidd.

"If this continues into "Super Tuesday," Feb. 5th, it will be all over for Ron Paul. If there isn't some accountability at this stage, we're going to see more of the same. Same old game I've watched for 14 long years when I became aware of fraud fraud. As hard as this quiet, decent and honorable man has worked during his candidacy and for all the dedicated supporters of his, how can you simply over look what's going on and not challenge it?

What message does that send to supporters?

How can a candidate expect his ground troops to get out there and fight for every vote for him, if the candidate won't even make the effort to verify every vote has been counted fairly when there is evidence of vote tampering?

It's not money for a hand recount because we have opened our wallets big time. There are things that simply must take priority.

I've encouraged Ron Paul supporters to continue contacting his NH Campaign HQ and ask them if there is going to be any audit of a dozen or so precincts. So far, several have gotten no where with claims by the staff that they don't know anything about what's going on with the vote count! This bothers me to no end.

There has to be a fight for honest votes by the candidate, otherwise hope dwindles and so will the cash. So will the hope. Nobody had any wild and unrealistic expectations Dr. Paul would win New Hampshire, but his massive number of wins in straw polls simply doesn't jive with the alleged vote Tuesday night.

Will Ron Paul authorize an audit of a cross section of precincts or let this fraud stand?"

I hope so!
