Arrest warrants issued for 6 Baltimore cops on manslaughter charges

So, have the cops been arrested?

Any no-knock raids go down since they are known to be armed and dangerous?

What has their bail been set at?

Kevin Moore
, the man who filmed 25-year-old Freddie Gray‘s arrest, was reportedly arrested in Baltimore on Thursday night, according to a Facebook post from “We Cop Watch,” a group that routinely films police activity.
Moore, who is said to have cooperated with police and turned over the video, claimed he was targeted after the police asked the public to identify him. They allegedly released his photo and told the public that he was “wanted for questioning.”
The Facebook post linked to a Counter Current News article claiming Moore was arrested along with Cop Watch activists Chad Johnson and Tony White. The group also asked for help from lawyers. Moore was apparently released overnight, but Johnson and White are still in custody:
Gray died in police custody on April 19th when his spine was “virtually severed” following injuries sustained in a police van the week before. A Maryland State Attorney announced on Friday morning that charges were filed against all six officers involved in Gray’s “illegal” arrest. His death was ruled a homicide.
The Baltimore City Police Department was not immediately available to provide more details on this story.

Baltimore's Big Bad Bail Problem

“Bails are being set at prohibitively. Some of the people involved in the disorderly conduct protests were given bails of hundreds of thousands of dollars,” Johnson said. Her team has been working around the clock this week, filing writs-habeas corpus to get people arrested in Monday’s riot released if they have not been charged.
While a number of people who were arrested on Monday were released because they had not been charged within Maryland’s 48-hour limit, the Baltimore Police Department would not confirm if any of those arrested remained in jail on Friday without yet being charged.
In the public defender’s experience, inflated bail amounts are an issue in Baltimore much more often than just during the riots. “This is a jurisdiction that struggles with setting bails for people. Our office has been working on high bail for quite some time,” Johnson told Newsweek. “People in Baltimore often refer to bails as ransoms because they're impossible to meet.”

Demonstrator identified as Allen Bullock uses a traffic cone to break the window of a police car
in Baltimore April 25, 2015, during protests of the death of Freddie Gray.
Allen Bullock, the 18-year-old seen in photos smashing in a police car with a traffic cone, turned himself in after being encouraged by his parents. But now he is being held on

$500,000

bail, an amount his parents cannot afford, The Guardian reports.

The eight misdemeanor charges Bullock face are his first as an adult, with rioting carrying a maximum of

life in prison.

I believe the prosecutor is premature with her charges and the states case will suffer due to her haste. Please recall the Rodney King case.. The state bought charges and lost their case, the city exploded like a bomb. Then the Fed's made some charges stick, I believe 2/3 officers were eventually charged.. My point is that the State should step aside and let the Fed's bring in the indictments first, get some convictions, then hand the ball to the state... If the state prosecutor loses her case before there are any Federal charges bought, the city of Baltimore and many other city's around the country will be in utter disarray to say the least.

Cummings already said she has the FULL WEIGHT of the U.S. Government behind her...

The Fed's should first file charges under title 18 USC 241-242... Then the state should bring their own charges..

The state bringing premature charges without proper due-diligence and evidence will not get a conviction..

Don't worry. They'll resurrect Micheal Jackson from the dead and say he molested a child on the day of the acquittal. We'll also go to war that day with Liberland. You know what they say, never let a delicious crisis go stale on the counter top. Or something like that.

a railroading by a corrupt thuggish DA.

I expect it is nothing but a calculated response to very righteous anger. It is a media show for the population.. (see, we are doing something)

There will be little or no actual prosecution. and if there are any convictions (doubts) they will be minimal.

i suppose we shall see... if this slows down the police state machine ...

If I was involved in a crime and one of my partners in crime pulled the trigger and murdered someone or the driver of the getaway vehicle ran over an innocent pedestrian, would everyone involved in the crime be charged with murder or only the person that pulled the trigger or only the driver?

This is what I was referring to earlier. I'll be interested to see what the cops bail is set at. The maximum on the charge the one cop faces, second degree murder, only carries 30 yrs. in Maryland I believe.

Depends on where you live. In some states, yes, you would.

Looks like the mayor's using these cops as sacrificial lambs and hanging them out to dry in order to pacify the "youths" and prevent more riots.
I bet though when the facts come out in trial, they'll be acquitted just like Darren Wilson.

Of course they are. Haven't you noticed a pattern in these events yet?

So what happened to the "he did it to himself" story?

Perhaps that left a certain problem with the "demonstrators" not being "given justice".... so... the story had to change to six cops being charged?
