Arnold Schwarzenegger to endorse McCain

this is a non-issue. californian republicans pretty much see arnold as a mole from the democratic party.

his endorsement of mccain only reinforces the liberal stigma attached to both of them. this further polarizes the conservative vote.

Perhaps but the media will talk it up a lot I am sure

People on the East coast don't know anything about Arnold except that he's "a Republican"

IIRC, Ahnold USED TO BE ( and I stress "used to") be a huge proponent of free markets and limited government. I don't think he was ever a "social conservative"'- which is fine. Neither am I.

I don't know if the Kennedys got to him or what.

I had no idea. I always thought he was kind of a liberal in disguise?

Mr. Schwarzenegger provided the introduction for Friedman's Free to Choose in 1990 and came out as a staunch supporter of free market capitalism.
