In all honesty, yes, I can empathize with the family of anyone who loses a loved one. Even if that loved one happened to be evil, that is no reason to hold the innocent family members who did not have a role in someone's decision-making. I feel for his wife and two kids.

How many people lost family members here and overseas partially because of this politician? How many people have to work years extra because of the suppport for the taxes and federal reserve by this politician? If there was a way to precisely break down the effects of what these people do and put it into real terms ie: you will have to work an extra month of your life to support the decision made on such and such date and then add them all up. Think it comes to years? How would you like to have that time and money back? What would you do with it if you could?

Specter began his career as a Democrat and ended his career as a Democrat, shifting the balance of power and clearing the way for some of the most odious legislation ever shat out the ass of Congress since the 17th Amendment was ratified. By his fruits shall he be judged.

I believe I would empathize with the families of each of these people you mentioned. Goebbels murdered all six of his kids, for gosh sakes. They looked like nice kids.
