Harrington was brought to libertarianism by Ron Paul's 2008 campaign for the Republican presidential nomination. Paul's non-interventionist stance on American foreign policy won him over, Harrington recalls.

"I would have voted for him if he won the nomination," says Harrington. "Going to war should be one of the last things humans do."

"It is rare to find a high-profile race like this featuring a two-way contest between a Libertarian and an incumbent. We intend to make the most of the publicity.

Cotton is showered with money by the Israel lobby and the MIC (but I repeat myself) so Harrington will need money to mount a general election campaign. Money funneled into their campaigns is how the Dem upstarts like AOC have been beating incumbents.

Not a Ron Paul type libertarian... But I would vote for him. Early and hard.

I also like the debate format. This should be done more, even if there are two candidates, then have two individual 'debates'.
 
Harrington didn't beat Cotton but he did pretty well with 33% of the vote. Nice run Ricky!
