ARG SC: Gingrich 40%, Romney 26%, Paul 18%, Santorum 13%

hmmm..... let's hope they're kinda sorta right. I'd love to get third, but not happy 'bout Newt winning.

newt beating romney is great. Newt does not have a national campaign and if the race is romney, newt and ron paul at the tampa convention. Then Ron Paul Wins or Obama. Newt winning sc and then florida we place top 3. Then we move to crush these obama republicans in the remaining states and keep the pressure on. Liberty will Prevail

They under est. Paul by 4% in Iowa and 5% in NH. I hope their streak continues.

If Paul can get 2nd, the media cannot use the 2 person race card. Actually, the media will do like they did with the Iowa straw poll in only paying attention to Newt's rise and Romney's fall. I think Romney can rebound in FL but the media narrative of Romney crashing will hurt.

Plan for Romney & Paul:

Skp Jan 26th debate. Newt gets his power from debates and will create a buzz around the two. Say Paul wanted to go to a children's hospital (like newt did)..

Aggressively play this ad. of Newt in FL on jan 27th. Won't allow Newt time to respond.

Kick Newt, 2 person race.

3rd Place and over 20% would be AMAZING!!! Especially with NO OFFICIAL Campaign Presence in South Carolina and Ron not Campaigning in 5 of the last 10 days.....

Every Vote is RP Grassroots generated.......God I love the Ron Paul Nation!!!!

Gingrich is missing 564 delegates by not being on ballot etc.we dont have to fear him at all.he is a blessing in disguise.now romney will attack him completely and santorum will drop out to support newt

we need the delegates he'll get though, and we want the position of anti Romney. It may not happen this time, and Gingrich will implode eventually because that is who Gingrich is, but I'd still rather Ron were in first, obviously.

This is shaping up to be a 5 point win for Paul today: 1) Newt winning kills Mitt's momentum, 2) Ron maintaining his 22-23% vote results (if ARG is understating his strength by 4 points again), 3) Ron beating Rick, 4) Rick dropping out (VERY likely), and 5) Newt and Mitt wasting a lot of resources battling each other in FL over the next week, as Paul quietly keeps building towards his caucus state wins in February.

The debate gave him a surge but cooler non open marraige heads will prevail somewhat and I think his numbers will drop.

we should get this info to Santa Rita Pac!

The good old days. Late October, early November, and Herman Cain was being ripped apart for his affairs:

You know, this Cain attack could help Newt in the long run. People will be tired of sexual themed "controversies" by the time Newt gets his chance at frontrunner...
But there can be a desensitizing effect in a given political year. After this Cain thing is over, people might say they don't want to hear about Newt's fun and games...
You have been desensitized. It's time for Newt.
Cain plowed a road for Newt by desensitizing the population to sex scandals...

The republican party is so hypocritical... impeach Clinton for his affair but Newt's multiple affairs and lack of family values is "OK" because he can debate obama.

Guys, this poll may be very accurate. Remember PPP says that last night's polling showed Newt beating Romney 40-26, exactly what ARG says. If people are leaving Santorum and Romney to go to Newt, this could be spot on. And wouldn't it be great if Romney could drop below Paul?! How would the media be able to spin that?! :)

Or even if Romney beats Paul 24-20, which looks reasonable according to this poll. Could the media ignore that incredible number? ;)

Shirley you jest. On CNN today, some pundit said that Ron Paul is half a candidate, if you count him at all.

newt is definitely going to win. so far the rcp average have been very accurate this year and we can definitely expect a blowout for newt. This scares me.

If this percentage for Dr. Paul is correct, this would be a major victory. Consider that in the 2008 Republican South Carolina primary, Dr. Paul got roughly 3.62%. An 18% finish is basically 5X the amount from 2008. That is incredible and unheard of - 5X increase in support!
