Are You a Strict Supporter of the Constitution?

Anarchy exists in your everyday life. In your home, your business, a skating rink, etc. Every place the government is not managing is in a state of anarchy. It merits study for the same reason Spontaneous Order (or any other observable thing) merits study. It's a real and observable phenomenon in nature.
Well, now we might be wading into a question of definitions. Some believe anarchy is a lack of government. Others believe it is the elimination of all hierarchy. Now I'm sure someone will just break out a dictionary, but regardless, much of anarchist thought has been about destroying hierarchy.

True. The "A-word" has been used in a lot of different ways over the years (like every other political word). Context is important to understand what a speaker is talking about.

Why should it be touched? It's a fair point and pretty good, but not something that can really start a discussion. Care to elaborate in a way that would generate some interest? :)

if its air tight, and supports a claim to localized voluntary minarchy without object. then so be it.

The Constitution grants those born here with the right to be a US citizen whether they follow the Constitution or not. I never asked to be a citizen and never signed a contract.

Translation: Every person born here is subject to the sovereignty of the 'United States'.
The 14th amendment nullified the Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence in one sentence.
Let the servitude commence.

Secede. Go on my own personal metallic standard (ala RP) and barter with it as often as possible. Turn the bankers' worthless paper into things of value.

i like the idea of the free state project exept its state wide thing.
a free city project would make more sense.

I agree. That makes micro-secession easier. It would have to be a city relatively isolated though, so as to provide a buffer zone between people and regime police forces.

i've been thinking about making lone pine the free city project. as a city our defense force could make a stand against any outside aggression by other government bodies.
i just don't know if people would get behind it.
we don't have high speed internet, but we do have ulitities, trash pickup and a voluntary fire department, voluntary water tower for those who don't have their own water well and are in driving distance of supplies.

Satellite internet doesn't work there? (sorry, don't know much about satellite connections aside from soundbites and rumors)

i'm at my parents house right now in lone pine on satelite internet. long story, by i hurt my foot seriously and can't get up the stairs to my apartment, so i'm here for a few days. anyway- satelite is faster than dialup but overall slower than all other services along with bandwidth bucket limits. and not cheap.
but with enough people, dsl would be brought in, either by someone who comes to live here who is willing to make the leap or by at&t.

Channeling Spooner?
I'll vote for like-minded folks, where possible, complain often. Long for the blue pill....

i find the life cycle of a true libertarian brings oneself to the point of realizing the truth of oneself. most find a hermitage, ron paul keeps me from my trek.
that is why i ruffle feathers. i shouldn't be in the general populace anymore. my mind has been freed. it conflicts with the matrix.
