Are you a Constitutionalist - a Libertarian - a Conservative - a Liberal - or ?

The scale you provide is biased and inaccurate by my account.

Liberals are not 30% while Conservatives are 60%. That's absurd. The best scale you can use is one that rates "Economic Liberty" and "Personal Liberty" separately.

Fair enough Xenophage - but it is a test that I couldn't get to link properly (sorry 'bout that).

Take the test . . .

Points rewarded from 0 to 3 for each of the five questions/positions.

Percentages for each:

Libertarians 15 of 15 = 100%
Constitutionalists 14 of 15 = 87%
Conservatives 9 to 13 of 15 = 60-87%
Moderate 8 of 15 50%
Liberals 5 to 7 of 15 = 33-47%
Socialist 3 or 4 of 15 = 20-27%
Fascist 1 or 2 of 15 = 7-13%
Communists 0 of 15 = 0%

I'm a social darwinist, I prefer to leave the squabbling over economic systems to materialists, but I'm alright with libertarianism.

90%+ Constitutionalist - Strict adherence to the Constitution. Very limited government involvement. States Rights.

Libertarian or Liberal ?

Don't people understand that a libertarian is probably the most liberal? When did Liberal start getting associated with "Progressive" Clinton IS NOT A LIBERAL, SHE IS A PROGRESSIVE.

30%- Liberal - Government interference in most aspects of a person's life particularly with the economy. Government policy to effect social issues.

That IS NOT LIBERAL. I don't care what people say! I'm a libertarian and extremely liberal. I dont want government involved in my life.

You should care what people say, because most every other American disagrees with you eldeeder -

Hitler-y Clinton wants government interference to the max - from socialized medicine to her
Clinton-esque pandering for votes with more entitlements. It ain't working out to well fer' her.
(not to mention having Bill in the White House with nothing to do !)

Ron Paul actually addressed the misunderstanding about liberal/libertarian in an early radio interview on April 12, 2007 for Michelson in the Morning - it can be linked at the WHO-AM (Des Moines) radio website.

Liberal and libertarian have a common latin root -
BUT they are nearly opposites really -

30%- Liberal - Government interference in most aspects of a person's life particularly with the economy. Government policy to effect social issues.

Basically what RP refers to as the "nanny-state", full of entitlements.

100% Libertarian - Complete personal freedom, NO government involvement.

This distinction is as misunderstood as the misnomer of using "isolationist" to describe a foreign policy of "non-intervention".

It is the idiot pundits in the media - like Sean (Moe) Hannity, but there sure are alot of 'em - that are dumbing up the electorate.
