Since one definition is that both are synonyms we are both.
Of course in real life most "elected" people aren't from lower levels of the population.
They are also not doing what is good for the people or what is good for the country.

I think that I'll still just stick with "plutocratic oligarchy".

"Republic or a Democracy", is a smokescreen charade.<IMHO>

If you want the right answers, it's often necessary to ask the right questions.
