Anyone know why Goldman Sachs contributed to Ron Paul campaign?

He's on the finance committee. They might wrongly think he'd have a grudge otherwise, or might just give to 'all members on the finance committee'. But those might just be employees who happen to work there, maybe in the mail room. How much did others get? Ron gets a tiny amount from banks and finance employers for someone on the House Finance committee.

Anyhow, Ron says he'll take money from everyone but just continue to do his thing. Special interests, overall, don't find him to be a good investment.

The employees don't represent the interests of goldman sachs especially if its just one or two. I mean, is it impossible to find a couple of goldman sachs employees that support Ron Paul? not at all.

A friend of mine just showed me this

Check out number 294.

Why would Goldman Sachs contribute $3251 to Ron Paul? Don't they pretty much stand against everything Ron Paul stands for????

I'm stumped.

It just means that people who work for Goldman Sachs contributed $3251 to Ron Paul. This could be anyone from the janitor to the CEO.

Employees of Goldman Sachs did. Why? Probably because they're Ron Paul supporters.

Bankers and financial people can be Ron Paul supporters as well.

Goldman Sachs employs quite a few people. Not everyone who works for a company shares the same views as the executives that run it.

Edit : Several have beat me to it. Sorry for the redundant post.

I'm a teacher, who is unfortunately also a part of the NEA and MEA, I support and regularly donate to Ron Paul knowing full well that when it gets closer to election cycle the teacher's union will start cramming down propaganda with my union dues. Oh how I long for Michigan to become a right to work State.

My buddy is a teacher. He's already got his Ron Paul yard sign out. He said the same thing as you. He knows he'll get crap for it but doesn't care.

Yeah, for all we know, some janitors and other necessaries for all companies, such as Goldman Sachs, donated some money. They still have to put Goldman as their employer.

When you work for a company like this, you see first hand the corruption that goes on... I actually suspect there's a lot of closet RP supporters in these companies and organizations.
