It wouldn't be so nerve-wracking but for the news that Iran is off the dollar... This will scare the shit out of me for the next week or so, mostly because I'm not ready guns- ammo- or food-wise. Have some, but never enough. Though I've got the toilet paper issue covered for a while...

Same, But I do have my rifles, tent, cast-iron cookware, 5-50 cord, ammo, and a 4 wheel drive all gassed up with an extra 20 gallons of gas next to my bug out box, oh and my fishing pole. Most of that is one big box, that I can toss in the back of the truck in about 30 seconds, and be on the road with my dog, wife, and child in less time than that.

I'm going to the grocery store at 9am tomorrow.

I was going shopping anyway, but I could round out the food and ammo stores. And a few mini-propane tanks for cooking/heat/light. Maybe get my garden soil, too, to make sure I can get my garden in.

Always be prepared, and non-perishables and ammo are probably much better investments than cash (liquidity) right now, anyway.

I went and bought a bunch of stuff, especially bottles of water. Google "Iran" and look at the news section. There were two pages of new stories in one hour. Things are heating up and even if nothing happens this week or next, it's good to stock up.
