i had a cousin who died unexpectedly in less than nine months after being diagnosed with lung cancer even though she never
smoked. my uncle died of leukemia in 1996 when he was in his 70s and he managed to live a while due to blood transfusions. my
mother is a survivor of breast cancer, is in her eighties, is healthy, clear headed & spry, and has delt well with the partial masectomy.
It's really unfortunate that these diseases can just creep up on people.
A little comment on blood transfusions: they are incredible. I've had multiple blood transfusions and I can safely say that they have helped to save my life. It's remarkable the advancements that have been made in treatments. I got a lot of transfusions to provide nutrition to my body as well.
Fun fact: My blood type changed from O+ to B+ after all the transfusions.
