There have been no scientific, independent polls for this race. Goodlatte had a push poll he was running, and he may have commissioned a real poll too, but he's not releasing any numbers if he has.

Calen Fretts is chipping away at Representative Jeff Miller in Florida's Panhandle, and Karen Kwiatkowski is challenging Representative Robert W. Goodlatte in Virginia.

"I think there's a great movement going on in this country," said Ms. Casida, who said she was pulled into politics by Mr. Paul's message and the red tape she faced trying to open a local farmer's market.

Goodlatte was selected in 1992 through a convention process. As I noted in my short speech, Bob very wisely chose a primary over a convention to determine the nominee in 2012. Had there been a convention vote for the 6th District House seat on May 5th, I would have won that vote handily.

Dave suggests that retiring Bob Goodlatte will be a “mission impossible.” I don’t think so. Moneywise, defending his seat has already been costly. He has spent nearly $750,000 so far, and will spend more than a million dollars to defend his seat in this primary alone. All over the country, Republican incumbents – against common wisdom -- are losing ground to the conservative and constitutionalist wing of the party. Just ask Senator Lugar.

But the robocalling can be inexpensive. Anybody know if she has that planned or funding for that? Our grassroots did a great job of getting those going for Dr. Paul's campaign.

I'd chip in a couple bucks for a last minute robocalling for her.

I truly respect the National Right to Life and the work they do to defend innocent life...but their reputation on endorsing is quite pitiful. They supported union-loving Tim Murphy, corrupt Spencer Bachus, and now they have endorsed RINO Goodlatte for office. They fail to see the larger picture...that these three support policies that don't directly hurt pro-life values, but in the long run will. All three of them voted for a continuing resolution to fund Planned Parenthood and Obamacare. Rep. Goodlatte may not have voted for Obamacare, but he voted for an expansion of Obamacare in 2011. Rep. Goodlatte may have a nice record from this organization, but I do not believe he is strongly pro-life. If the heat gets turned on, Rep. Goodlatte will freak out and run to the pro-abortion side. Karen Kwiatkowski will NEVER do such a thing. Karen Kwiatkowski is the true pro-lifer, and I (a pro-life American) am proud to endorse her for congress and encourage my fellow pro-lifers to do the same!

I can say the same for the NRA. They have good safety programs, firearms training, promote competitions, etc., but the political wing is pretty sad. In this case here though, GOA also rates Goodlatte as "A" and I can say he's been on the right side of all the gun legislation that I've followed. That being said, with Karen there, I wouldn't need to follow
